An empty, neat shed, waiting for a throng of harvesters. Soon water will be spraying. "27  more bunches of beets....Where's the scale?"

Harvesters have arrived. Back breaking work. We love them all! Thanks you guys for all your hard work.









Loose spinach, just cut and washed.  Hard not to snack on the fresh tasting leaves! Imagine if we ran an ice cream shop!








Spinach being bagged and weighed in a fast blur.  750 more bags to go! Well...maybe I never want to see spinach again after all.

Load up the truck and off we go...to Chicago or Kankakee, to grocery stores and restaurants and tables.
